Lieutenant Junior Grade Jiemba Lachlan Windradyne (or Locky to his friends) was a human serving as Operations Officer onboard the U.S.S. Persephone. He is a Wiradjuri man from near the city of Sydney, on the continent of Australia.

He is an introverted autistic young man with a passion for systems—ecology and engineering understood through the same mental mechanisms. Lachlan is not really a theist but does believe certain philosophical Aboriginal concepts and truths about the universe.
